The Toronto Users Group for Power Systems (TUG) is committed to protecting the privacy of each person who visits our site or receives any of our e-mails. Please take a few minutes to read our Privacy Policy.

Collection of personal information
We never collect any personal information (such as e-mail address or residential address) unless a visitor has chosen to provide that information to us. We do not use techniques that collect personal information without your knowledge. We always clarify why we are collecting any personal information, and how it will be used. We do not sell or provide any personal information, submitted through our Web site, to third parties without your consent.

Use of non-personal information
When you visit our Web site or receive any of our e-mails, we may automatically record certain non-personal information about your visit, which helps us to understand the flow of traffic. It also assists in our planning for new content and online services. We may provide summary statistics about traffic patterns, consisting of anonymous aggregate data, to a reputable third party. These statistics do not contain personally identifiable information.

E-mail for marketing purposes
From time to time, we send e-mail messages to people who have opted-in to our electronic mailing list. We use these messages to announce TUG events, as well as other information of interest to the Power Systems community. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, contact the TUG office by email at admin@tug.ca, or by phone at 416-622-8789. In that case, we will promptly remove your name and e-mail address. We will also remove from our electronic mailing list your mailing address and telephone number, upon your request.

You will find links to other Web sites in several areas of our Web site and in our online magazine. Please be aware that our Privacy Policy applies only to the confines of our site and our online magazine. Once you link to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy on that site.
