Edmund Reinhardt

Architect for IBM i Application Development
at IBM Canada Ltd.

Edmund is a highly-skilled professional who can tackle technical challenges with great complexity. He has the vision to see what can be accomplished by technology as well as what the business needs to succeed.

He is very passionate about people, not only delighting customers by responding to and anticipating their needs, but also by mentoring and developing members on his team.

TOPIC: "Better projects, objects and AI for IBM i"

SESSION ABSTRACT:

Learn how to develop on IBM i using intelligent projects in VS Code that know how to build themselves! Source can be managed in free enterprise source management such as git. All length restrictions imposed by SRC-PF are left behind. So the source is in stream files with all the flexibility that it brings and the compiled objects are in native QSYS libraries.

This is modern application development brought to the IBM i. All the software is open source and does not cost anything extra.

Secondly, get a sneak peak at the new AI-powered code assistant that is being developed for IBM i. Learn how you, too, can be a part of this effort.
